Sarah Baxter


Sarah is an original member of the Learning Fundamentals Team.  She received her Bachelors of Arts in Music in 1989 from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her teaching certification in 1990. Sarah taught Year 6 in Hayward, California before moving to Australia in 1992.


Sarah spent many years working in employment and training agencies for people with disabilities. She completed her Masters in Education, Specific Learning Difficulties in 2010, from the University of Melbourne. She worked in the Student Services Department in the middle school at a local private college.


Sarah has experience both as a parent and a professional in the area of learning difficulties and knows from personal experience the value of tutoring and accommodations. She is committed to supporting parents and families on their journey of learning and achieving.


Sarah continues to develop her skills and understanding through professional development by attending conferences, reading industry journals and articles, by completing courses and certifications and listening to webinars and podcasts.
