Rob is an experienced educator having worked as a teacher, coach and consultant for over 40 years. Working in the classroom, at all grade levels, he then studied as a Reading Recovery teacher, specializing in students with literacy challenges.
In 2002, Rob accepted a position with an Australian company as a Literacy Consultant in New York City, working with teachers and administrators to lift the standard of literacy in that city through increased teacher expertise.
Returning to Melbourne in 2010, Rob worked in the Western Metropolitan Region as a consultant in both Primary and Secondary colleges, as well as two years at Sunshine Special Development School.
More recently, Rob has worked as a literacy coach at St. Joan of Arc primary school in Brighton.
Rob again returned to New York in 2016-17, working in a number of literacy roles in The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.
He is married to Chrissie, has two children and two beautiful granddaughters; enjoys travel, golf and watching the Mighty Demons in footy season.
