Lucinda Stewart


Lucy has over 10 years experience working with children in a range of early childhood and primary school settings. She is passionate about literacy and numeracy development and the importance of developing positive relationships with students and families.


Lucy completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences (Psychology) in Queensland before completing a Postgraduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education and a Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne. Lucy has been involved in a number of research projects through The Melbourne Graduate School of Education and has guest lectured in the Master of Teaching program in reading and writing development.


After many years teaching in primary schools, in both public and independent settings, Lucy is continuing study in educational research. In addition to tutoring, Lucy will be part of the teaching team in the Early Language and Literacy subject of the Master of Teaching program at the University of Melbourne.
